STEAMbot User Guides

Overview

The STEAM Train wants to thank you for getting a STEAMbot Robot Kit and getting on board for a better future! This kit will help you learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM). We hope you will have lots of fun putting your robot together and learning how to program it. Your efforts will be rewarded and give you opportunities for a better future.

The STEAM Train has developed a mobile app, called My STEAMbot, so you can remotely control your STEAMbot. It’s available for both Android mobile devices. The iOS version is no longer available.

Problems Updating v2.0.0-rc.7 Firmware

If you have problems updating firmware v2.0.0-rc.7 or later, try the following:

  • Make sure your STEAMbot is connected to a WiFi Access Point that has Internet access.
  • Make sure your STEAMbot is On.
  • Click here to bring up a firmware update web page. You will be asked to enter the number of your STEAMbot. This is the 6 digit hexadecimal number printed on the electronics of the STEAMbot.
