Attendees will built learn how to build a robot using the STEAMbot Robot Kit, play games with it and learn how to program the STEAMbot. At the end, they will take their STEAMbot robot home.

Description

The STEAM Train is proud to offer a Make n Take a Robot camp, one of the very few robotics camps where attendees take home the robot they build. Attendees will learn the basics of mechanical and electrical engineering and computer science as related to robotics. Laptops will be provided for the attendee’s use. For some of the games, having a cell phone (with WiFi) will be helpful.

This camp is targeted for young people ages 8 and up (and those young at heart). However, younger kids are welcome with an adult.
